Jeff Macklan BSC DDS
In 1987 Dr. Macklan opened his office in Cote St Luc. Since then, he has expanded his practice to include an additional location, Pointe Claire, Quebec which remains today as his principal office. While initially concentrating on general dentistry, his practice has presently evolved into one that also offers Laser Assisted Dentistry as well as Cosmetic Dentistry, while maintaining a strong emphasis on general Family Dentistry.
Dr Macklan graduated from McGill university in 1980 with a Bachelors degree in Science with a major in Anatomy.
In 1984 he graduated from McGill university Dental School with a DDS.
From 1984 until 1986 Dr Macklan participated in a multidisciplinary residency program I and II at the Montreal Children's Hospital
In 1986 - 1987 Dr Macklan was appointed as a full time staff member of the Montreal Children's Hospital dental clinic.
In 1986 Dr Macklan was appointed a Clinical Instructor and Faculty Lecturer at McGill University School of Dentistry, and continues there today.
In 2007 Dr Macklan received certification in Laser Dentistry from the WCLI ( World Clinical Laser Institute), in both Waterlase (ErYag) as well as Ezlase, and Ilase (diode) lasers.
Dr Macklan is a Member of the Quebec Order Of Dentists, as well as the Quebec Dental Surgeons Association
In an on going belief that one achieves excellence through education, Dr Macklan attends, conferences and world symposiums regularly.
